Description:
This was my very first piece in the series. I had made a smaller version of this painting and wanted to know what would happen if I enlarged the surface and made it in oils. When I was personally in a state of chaos navigating life as a mom with two little boys, working on this piece provided a retreat from the busy day-to-day. The warm light reminds me that God is always working in our midst, being a lamp to our feet and a light to our path.
